Can I compress an image to an exact file size?
You can set a target, but an exact file size isn't guaranteed. For JPEG and WebP, the tool lowers quality to try to stay under your target in KB, keeping your dimensions. If the target is too small, you'll see the actual size and can try smaller dimensions.
Which format should I choose?
JPEG suits most photos and is widely supported, but it has no transparency. WebP usually makes smaller files and keeps transparency, though not every platform accepts it. PNG preserves transparency with lossless encoding, but photos often end up larger. Check which formats your destination accepts.
Will this crop my product or improve its detail?
It is never cropped or stretched: the whole image fits inside your dimensions, with margins if the proportions differ. Enlarging a small image doesn't restore detail. The presets are convenient sizes, not a guarantee that an image meets every marketplace's requirements.
